From Referrals to the Digital Realm: A New Chapter Begins

In August 2023, I plunged into the digital landscape, marking a significant shift from our entirely referral-based business model. Today, I stand on the cusp of a 31-day journey, a commitment to sharing my experiences, challenges, and triumphs as I venture into the world of online presence. Join me as I unveil the progress of My Retail World through daily articles on LinkedIn, Medium, and our website, myretail-world.com.  I say this knowing family vacations, regular business needs, friend parties, and various good distractions are bound to interrupt my writing flow.

LinkedIn Goals: Aiming for Relevance and Reach by Building Connections Beyond Numbers

With a modest 18 connections on LinkedIn, my first goal is to increase this number to a more robust and engaged community of 100 connections. Beyond the numerical growth, I aim to foster meaningful conversations and relationships within the LinkedIn community, positioning My Retail World as a relevant voice in e-commerce and business management.

Crafting Engaging Content for Daily LinkedIn Posts

While quantity is a goal, quality remains paramount. I commit to delivering daily LinkedIn posts that provide value, insights, and perhaps a touch of inspiration to my growing network. Through engaging content, I aim to spark discussions, share knowledge, and establish My Retail World as a valuable resource in the LinkedIn landscape.

Striving for 1,000 Impressions Daily

In the vast ocean of LinkedIn content, standing out is a challenge. Not only am I new, but my last several articles have a whopping 36 impressions, which is good for tinkering and just starting on LinkedIn. I aim to achieve a daily reach of 1,000 impressions on my LinkedIn posts. By consistently delivering content that resonates, I can make a meaningful impact and extend the reach of My Retail World to a broader audience.

Medium.com Goals: Building a Following and Monetizing Content Turning Followers into a Community on Medium

With 476 followers, I aim to increase this number to 600 by the end of the 31-day journey. With an average of 33 views per day I aim to kick that up to 100 per day. Beyond the numbers, I want to transform this following into an engaged community. I'll achieve this by responding to comments, encouraging discussions, and curating content that resonates with the Medium audience. Seriously, I’m a stay-at-home dad ask me anything I’m bored!

Monetizing Content and Sharing Insights

While monetary gains are not the sole focus, I aim to increase my earnings on  Medium. My desires for Medium are to improve my knowledge of my own business, become a better writer, and increase my ability to articulate my company to every client clearly.  My goal is to make a total of $50 during this journey, not only as a testament to the value of my content but also to reinvest in tools and resources that will enhance the My Retail World online experience.

Daily Commitment to Writing on Medium

Consistency is key on Medium. I commit to publishing a new article daily, sharing insights, experiences, and valuable information, albeit mostly about my company. Through this daily commitment, I aim to reach a broader audience, refine my writing skills, and establish My Retail World as a reputable voice on the Medium platform.

Myretail-world.com Google Analytics Goals: Navigating the Digital Landscape By Turning 22 Users into a Client

Google Analytics reports 22 users on myretail-world.com from September 1st to September 28th. I aim to double this number by the end of October, transforming our website into a thriving hub for information, resources, and engagement. Beyond the metrics, I aim to convert these users into active My Retail World journey participants.

Enhancing the User Experience and Time Spent on the Site

Beyond the numbers, the user experience is paramount. I aim to increase the average time spent on the website from 22 seconds to 60 seconds per user. Achieving this goal involves offering valuable content and ensuring a user-friendly interface that encourages exploration and interaction.

Inspiring Action: Converting Visitors into Clients

The ultimate goal for my retail-world.com is to convert visitors into clients. I aim to generate one new client from the website during this 31-day journey. This reflects the value our content provides and establishes a direct channel of communication with individuals interested in the services and insights My Retail World offers.

Closing Thoughts: Navigating Uncertainty with Enthusiasm

As I embark on this 31-day journey, I want to share the personal insights and hesitations that come with setting such ambitious goals. The digital realm is vast, and navigating it is exciting and uncertain. I’m uncomfortable with the internet. I feel vulnerable as my spelling, grammar, and writing skills are weak.  Yet, it's this very uncertainty that fuels my enthusiasm. I invite you to join me on this journey, witness the challenges, celebrate the victories, and explore the untapped potential of My Retail World in the online space.
