This “reverse” Amazon strategy is INSANE.
I started my journey over 2 years ago and am so glad I did.
I used to work 70–80 a week as a production manager.
I worked in a typical corporate manufacturing facility. It had the standard problems.
Too much work, too many problems to solve. My phone never stopped. I got texts, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, Zoom Invites, Teams notifications (I can still hear them in my nightmares), and emails that never ceased (100–200 a day).
Don’t tell my old boss, but some days, I would auto-select all 200+ emails in my inbox and send them to the trash just to start fresh.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved my job and truly cared for the people I worked with, but I could never leave work.
Vacations were cut short. Time off for holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries was always interrupted by phone calls that never stopped.
Until I found this method of selling on Amazon, it’s BORING.
I don’t get phone calls at three in the morning because someone cut their head open doing something they shouldn't have on a machine they had no business running.
I haven’t missed a birthday, one of my kid's games, or my wife and I's anniversary since I started this “boring” because my work is now so boring and easy it’s tough to describe what I do.
This method is insanely simple AND profitable.
It’s anti-passionate. It’s a pure numbers game.
Sure, it’s no passion project, but it’s so profitable.
Passion is important, but that passion lies with my family, not my job.
